The Opportunity 

Perform all aspects of quality control in a nutritional premix facility. Review, author and develop quality processes as they relate to the analytical laboratory and quality control. This permanent position will report to the QC Lab Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following; 

• Test all incoming materials and finished blends for conformance to established specifications.  Instrumentation includes HPLC, FI-IR, UV/VIS, ICPMS, Titration, particle size analyzer and others as needed. 
• Perform out of specification investigation process including corrective actions.
• Perform deficient materials review and ensure materials are investigated and dispositioned in a timely manner.
• Comply with all food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance).

   The Skills you will bring to the team

• BS in Chemistry or related degree.
• One to three years related laboratory experience and/or combination of related coursework and work experience.
• Working knowledge of HPLC and other lab instrumentation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
