Job Description

El Camino Health is excited to offer a Bridge Program into Acute Care Mental Health & Addiction Services for LVNs and LPTs

This program is designed for LVN/LPTs who have experience working in non-acute care mental health settings (such as Residential Treatment, Outpatient Program, clinic setting) who are interested in transitioning into Acute Care  Mental Health & Addiction Services.

We will also consider New Grad LPTs who have a strong focus on Mental Health and Addiction care.

Job Description

Responsible for collecting and documenting clinical data on patients during admission and throughout the hospital stay. 

Provides interventions which are within scope of licensure practice that follow policy/procedures/treatment plan/MD orders. 

Assists patients to improve level of functioning.

Provides information to RNs and others for the assessment, care-planning, and provision of care on the psychiatric unit. 

Participation is expected in continuing education, development of unit programs, facilitation of staff communication and assistance to other units when needed.

• Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
• License/Certification/Registration Requirements
  • Current CA LVN or LPT license.

Salary Range:

$46.12 - $58.33 USD Hourly
