As a Warehouse Attendant you will be responsible for inventory and upkeep of the warehouses, containers, reporting, ordering, and issuing aviation parts, and maintain paper and electronic inventories.

Key Accountabilities:  

• Responsible for inventory and upkeep of the warehouses, containers, reporting, ordering and issuing of aviation parts, and maintain paper and electronic inventories
• Manage the inventory of engine parts and special tools, complete monthly inventories, turn-in, delivery, and order in accordance with prescribed procedures
• Build part containers and boxes to required design.
• Responsible for the hazardous material and waste program, ensuring proper disposal of generated waste, inventory, and issuance of hazardous material on hand and maintaining accurate records and logs of disposal and material on hand.
• Perform weekly checks of inventory and stock such as rags, wire, brushes, tape, and packaging material to support production operations.
• May assist tool room personnel to maintain, store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with the storage plan of the site, issue material to customers, remove material from storage, and prepare for shipment.

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to work at least 10% overtime hours, when needed or required, and also available for Service Support on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and holidays  
• Ability to lift, hold and carry up to 50 pounds unaided
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years’ experience working in a warehouse, or stock room environment OR 3 years of experience working in a warehouse, or stock room environment in lieu of High School Diploma
• Previous experience with hazardous material and waste handling
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
• To be considered for this opportunity, employee must be a US citizen
• Must be able to pass a government background check

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience and familiarity with Civilian/ US Navy warehouse procedures and practices
• Ability to obtain a Forklift license
• Ability to obtain a hazmat license
• NALCOMIS experience preferred
• Experience of working with tools
• Awareness of safety procedures
• At least 1 year of experience driving a forklift
