JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title:                                    Manufacturing Engineering Controls/Automation Technician

Pay Rate:                            $26.34- $35.16 Based on experience and education

Work Schedule:                 Monday – Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with 1 hour unpaid lunch

Responsibilities of Position (not limited to)

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair control systems, PLC’s, HMI’s and other automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug: Diagnose and resolve issues with control related issues, ensuring equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Programming: Program and calibrate control systems for optimal performance, using various programming languages and software.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with engineers and other technical staff to design and develop automation and control systems, ensuring safety and compliance regulations.
  • Training: Provide training and support to operations and maintenance techs of the control system.
  • Overtime: Voluntary and required overtime may be required and will be determined by business need and may be required on short notice.

  • Data Acquisition Systems
  • Interface and communications between devices and LAN
  • Process Capability Studies, G R&R, Equipment Calibration
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • PLC troubleshooting and programming (AB and Siemens)
  • Electrical wiring diagram reading
  • LabVIEW
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project & PowerPoint
  • Robotic programming skills

Education/Experience

Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Automation/Manufacturing or Mech
