Army FIAR - Fund Balance w/ Treasury (FBwT) Support

We are seeking an Army FIAR - Fund Balance w/ Treasury (FBwT) Support with Army FIAR to work with a multi-disciplinary team of accountants, tech consulting and tech risk to optimize the Army’s control environment for FBwT. These efforts include, implementing controls designed over FBwT for the Army General Fund, enhancing existing controls, conducting process trainings, and documenting ongoing risk assessment. Work will be performed on a hybrid basis (part telework) with onsite support in Tysons Corner, VA and Arlington, VA.

Required Skills:

• Active Secret security clearance (interim OK)
• Strong preference for CPA, CGFM or pursuing such.
• External or internal audit experience (e.g., performance audits or inspections like improper pay alone will not suffice).
• BS or MS in accounting, will likely accept a candidate with a BS in another business major with an accounting certificate
• 6 years of experience with federal financial management, and 4 years of federal accounting experience
• Public sector financial statement audit or audit readiness experience with a focus on IT general and application controls for financially relevant systems associated with internal / external audits.
• Must be a strong team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills around information assurance and security relating to IT general controls and application controls.
