So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

-          Screens telephone calls, makes appointments, and provides general information. Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, accounting documents, data processing printouts, etc.

-          Performs receptionist duties. Greets, logs, and screens visitors. Provides general organizational information. Operates a telephone.

-          Prepares routine reports requiring the gathering and compilation of information data from department operating records, financial records, personnel records, etc.

-          Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Qualifiers:

·         One year of progressively responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.

·         Must pass a employment criminal background check.
