About the role

OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Capital Markets  to support the delivery of large-scale business and technology initiatives. This role involves conducting competitive analysis, monitoring product and system performance, and assessing issues to develop effective solutions. The Product Manager is responsible for P&L, managing product risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of product features aligned with strategic goals.   Pay Rate: $84 on W2 Duration: 6 months with possibility to conversion  Not C2C eligible Location: NY   RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Agile Teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with Solution Architects/Engineering to define and maintain Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs) and system quality standards.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring a continuous flow of well-defined features and user stories ready for development.
  • Participate in quarterly planning sessions by presenting the product vision, proposed features, and upcoming milestones.
  • Define release plans and program increments, including new features, architectural considerations, and technical debt management.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects/Engineering to understand and sequence enabler work, supporting the development of the Architectural Runway for new business functionalities.
  • Explain financial results, forecast future performance, and identify opportunities to improve profitability through data-driven insights.
  • Manage product risks and contribute to the evolution of policies, procedures, and controls to support product success.
    QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of retail product management experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions and macros.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in PowerBI and SQL preferred.
  • Expertise in product design, business case development, pricing strategies, campaign management, technology project delivery, P&L management, and risk mitigation.
