Position Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working on projects that directly support key commercialization initiatives. As a commercialization intern you will collaborate with matrix teams while contributing to the development and execution of assigned projects based on business needs. In this role you will learn about Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) and network across the organization.

The Internship Program will feature: 

  • An orientation session, including an overview of company structure, products, and brands 

  • Exposure to business leaders 

  • Developmental feedback and coaching  

  • Intern programming including speaker series, learning and development sessions, volunteering and networking events


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of assigned projects relevant to current business needs, including, but not limited, to:

    • Matrix collaboration meetings

    • project materials

    • Sharing action items and following up on time sensitive requests

  • Assist in the development of plans, projects, and collaborative partnerships that advance the US Hematology and Oncology goals

  • Support the planning and execution of key franchise events

  • Assist with group operations through scheduling team meetings, taking meeting minutes

  • Drive execution of a strategic project across the U.S. Commercial Hematology and Oncology team as business demands

  • Final presentation to senior leaders & team members on strategic projects

Qualifications & Experience

  • Candidate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Marketing and Biomedical Engineering is preferred

  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Must include GPA on resume for consideration (program requires GPA of 3.0 or greater)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Candidate should have robust strategic, analytical, conceptual, creative and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have strong intellectual and analytical skills with demonstrated ability for quickly grasping new and complex business concepts. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and work effectively in a matrix organization, are essential.

  • Leadership potential is highly valued, and a commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork is required.

  • Possess time management, priority management and attention to detail capabilities
