Position Summary:
The Vice President of Hospice is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and operational management of the Hospice divisions. This executive role involves developing and executing business strategies, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving financial performance. The Vice President will collaborate with senior leadership to align the divisions’ goals with the organization's mission and objectives.

Required Experience for Vice President Hospice:
Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in Hospice, or a related Medicaid/Medicare based healthcare field.
Proven track record of success in strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership.
Accountability for Vice President:

Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans for the and Hospice divisions in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including service line expansion, geographic expansion, and partnerships.

Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the and Hospice divisions, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care and operational excellence.
Ensure the use of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

Financial Performance:
Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial stability and growth.
Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure effective revenue cycle management to optimize billing, collections, and cash flow.
Ensure effective labor management to align revenue with expense management as it relates to labor (wording may need some tweaking, but you all get my point around labor mgmt and the importance to the business)

Quality and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including Medicare Conditions of Participation and state-specific regulations.
Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve patient care outcomes.
Oversee the accreditation processes to maintain necessary certifications and standards.

Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of clinical and administrative professionals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare providers, payers, and community partners.
