Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Sr. Manager, Operations to work remotely with occasional travel. Ideal candidates must have an active Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

  • Report to the Sr. Director, Operations, and manage Department of Defense programs.
  • Manage Millennium contract support teams in a dedicated market space, while ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, staff development, and business growth. 
  • Provide technical support to supervisors and staff within their purview, while ensuring that the highest quality of customer service is provided on existing contracts.
  • Provide administrative support in areas of compliance, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve annual revenue growth goals through successful marketing of the company's capabilities and performance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal and external business development plan, marketing plan, and associated financial plan while participating in the capture and proposal process to increase Gross Revenue and Profit.

Operations: 

  • Manage Profit and Loss at the program level and lead cost schedule and performance
  • Gain and maintain customer intimacy and drive innovation and change
  • Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan and associated monthly budgets
  • Manage and deliver Program Management Reviews that manage AOP, Budget, and Actuals by month which include Estimation At/To Complete; Variance analysis; DSO; and ROS
  • Facilitate interaction with contracts and manage 1099s and sub-contractors.
  • Lead Project Managers daily
  • Drive CPAR excellence
  • Provide timely and accurate Monthly Status Reports to government
  • Retain and hire quality personnel and work to achieve “Best Places to Work”
  • Establish team goals and communicate/manage performance expectations as part of Annual Assessments
  • Ensure adherence to corporate business rhythm and information management
  • Collaborate with all Corporate staff functions to fulfill contract requirements and maintain sound risk management practices

 Business Development:

  • Serve as growth leader and manage program expansion growth.
  • Lead business development efforts for spot growth and lead small capture efforts.
  • Collect business intel and successfully communicate plans to staff, peers, and senior managers.
  • Develop positive relationships with senior-level clients and Industry Partners to enhance opportunities for expanding current business.
  • Understand the client’s issues and address them with Millennium’s solutions, service offerings, methodologies, and tools.
  • Contribute to building the company's new business pipeline with opportunities sufficient to achieve revenue expectations.
  • Contribute to the identification and capture of market opportunities, capture plans, actions, and milestones.
  • Perform public speaking engagements to promote the company.
  • Capture and share lessons learned with colleagues across the business to improve quality, service offerings, and staff development

Additional Duties:

  • Develop auditing plans through studies conducted by government agencies and professional organizations.
  • Review all relevant programs and activities affected by industry regulations, including records, reports, and software.
