Who You Are:- You fundamentally believe that all students can, want to, and will achieve their goals as a result of the highest level of care.- You have experience in and passion for working in a public school setting with a diverse cohort of students from predominantly underrecognized communities.- You believe in the power of science, data, and human connection in equal measure.- You set a high bar. The goals for your students (and yourself) are elevated because you know that when you set a high bar, students will meet it.- You’re a natural collaborator and partner-in-good. You offer what’s needed: critical feedback, a high five, or a quick email.- You’re kind. You speak, act, and serve in ways that show empathy and care.
What You’ll Do:- You’re the magnet, drawing together pieces of the behavior puzzle to support students inside and outside of the classroom and the adults who interact with them most closely (parents, teachers, and school leaders).- You’ll conduct assessments of student behavior and develop clear, holistic, actionable behavior intervention plans for supporting the students on your caseload. You’ll support the adults in their lives by implementing the plans with fidelity, always holding the student to high standards (because you know that all students can and will succeed with the right support).- Design and facilitate responsive, engaging professional development for school-based staff, equipping them with the skills, mindsets, and knowledge to implement BIPs.- Operate with confidence, flexibility, and an “assume the best” mindset with all partner school teams and external stakeholders.
