What Is The Opportunity?

The Business Systems Analyst is a blended role responsible for leading, analyzing and testing activities on medium to large size priority initiatives. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and expertise in the Business Continuity Management (BCM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) modules of ServiceNow. The BSA will act as a lead liaison between technical, project and governance teams to close gaps, enhance and maintain the BCM, IRM and CMDB modules along with others as needed.

What Will You Do?

  • Partner with senior leadership from various teams on the vision, strategy and roadmap for medium to large complex initiatives and how they should be delivered

  • Use past expertise and current best industry practices tied to BCM, IRM and CMDB modules in SNow to ace as an SME and propose solutions that meet stakeholder needs

  • Develop detailed requirement plans for the design, build, implementation and stabilization phases of work tied to BCM, IRM and CMDB modules with SNow

  • Be able to clearly articulate and document BCM, IRM and CMDB related processes built within the SNow Platform that can be used for compliance tracking and evidence, and by the production support team when triaging issues in these modules

  • Understand integration and automation impacts and benefits within the BCM, IRM and CMDB SNow modules and provide guidance and oversight on how to use integrations to improve processes

  • Be able to complete full end-to-end detailed QA testing of complex solutions tied to the BCM, IRM and CMDB modules using manual and automated tools

  • Understand dependencies between the 3 modules and complete detailed regression testing to ensure no conflicts or defects are promoted

  • Create clear and detailed test plans that can be re-purposed and used

  • Be able to effectively forecast and plan against medium to large size project deliverables and create project plans with milestones and deliverables for stakeholders and technical teams that can be used on projects

  • Be able to proactively identify requirement or technical issues that may arise during a project and provide various solutions to address them

  • Able to craft detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables for stakeholders and technical teams that can be used on projects

  • Ability to provide cross-training and share knowledge to other team members in the BCM, IRM and CMDB SNow modules

What Do You Need To Succeed?

Must Haves:

  • Undergraduate degree/diploma in a technical field or equivalent

  • Extensive experience as a BSA or relevant role in the implementation and/or enhancement of the BCM, IRM and CMDB modules of SNow

  • Solid understanding of ITIL best practices and processes

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of APIs and Integrations and how they impact BCM, IRM and CMDB modules in SNow

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven track record delivering against medium to large complex projects

Nice to Haves:

  • ServiceNow related certifications tied to the BCM, IRM and CMDB modules of SNow

  • Understanding of Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management processes and modules within SNow

  • Thorough experience using SNow for automated testing (ATFs)

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000 - $190,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
