Principal Research Engineer I, S1

Purpose of the Position:

The Principal Research Engineer will perform systems engineering research in collaboration with the ISE Dept.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform systems engineering research in collaboration with the ISE Dept.
• Edit and analyze technical documents for NASA.
• Mentor research teams consisting of Masters and undergraduate students.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ph.D. (or completion of PhD coursework) with 0 - 3 months full-time work experience.
• 6+ months systems engineering research in an academic setting.
• US Citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Ph.D. (or completion of PhD coursework) with 6+ months full-time work experience.
• 12+ months systems engineering research in an academic setting.
• Decision theory.

Published Salary (if available):

$79,806 -$83,200.00
