JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Lead to oversee the picking and packing of our outbound orders.  This candidate will excel at navigating inventory track and trace systems, as well as effectively managing the distribution team. The candidate will demonstrate comprehensive distribution skills, overseeing a smooth transfer of finished goods from our facility to the retail customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately and efficiently process sales orders by picking, packing, and preparing products for delivery.
• Label shipments, create invoices, and build transportation documents in METRC, Distru, Leaflink and/or any related inventory/sales platforms.
• Ensure outgoing orders are packed accurately and products meet the finished goods standards.
• Update system records accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and proactively communicate with the sales team regarding finished good inventory.
• Communicate and collaborate with the packaging team, sales team and other departments as needed to troubleshoot issues and prioritize order queue.
• Coordinate outbound orders with transport provider.
• Strategic planning of duties and tasks for the distribution team.
• Evaluate and refine order fulfillment processes.
• Ensure distribution team members are operating efficiently and using best practices.

• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
