The Calling:

The Director of Professional Services will report to the VP of Customer Success and work closely with the sales, customer success, customer support, and product teams to provide best in class professional learning and coaching for our school district partners. This role requires a deep understanding of school systems, change leadership, MTSS, adult learning, and the ability to recruit and build a team of education consultants around the country who will be thought leaders alongside district and school leaders.


What You'll Achieve:

  • Responsible for leading and developing the PS team and independent contractors in providing best-in-class professional learning opportunities for our district partners
  • Collaborate across teams to refine the professional services portion of the customer journey including deliverables, milestones, timeline and owners
  • Participate in sales calls for strategic accounts providing expertise on MTSS, platform functionality and professional learning and serving as an executive sponsor for our strategic customers
  • Utilize appropriate strategies and problem solving tools to make decisions concerning resource planning and delivery management including staffing, training, and funnel/capacity planning, effective backlog management, risk management, change management, revenue and profitability forecasting with the finance department
  • Ensure successful delivery of consulting, education and professional services to our customers, overseeing resource management, delivery and operational success metrics
  • Create service offerings aligned with customer segments, including value positioning, scope of services, collateral and pricing
  • Be accountable for professional services financial goals and metrics, including bookings, revenue, gross margin and utilization
  • Develop annual goals, metrics, and strategic plans to build and evolve BRM's learning content and transformational service offerings
  • Own operational metrics, such as time-to-value, customer satisfaction and on-time completion of PD sessions
  • Build and scale service operations (i.e., people, process, systems and tools) to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while building an effective and efficient delivery methodologies
  • Facilitate collaborative problem-solving across BRM teams to identify challenges and solutions to the customer experience
  • Responsible for Professional Service team operational efficiency and environment; including recruiting, maintaining, and developing a premier team including PSM, Instructional Designers, and Consultants
  • Organize and prioritize ideas according to feasibility (budget, timing), client KPI, and other criteria pertinent to the RFP for the professional services team
  • Assists in delivering professional development to district and school partners during peak times
  • Ensure professional growth and development of the PS team providing regular feedback, annual performance reviews, hiring and revising roles & responsibilities as needed

Requirements

Why We Want You:

  • Master of Education
  • 5 + years elementary and/or secondary school classroom teaching experience
  • 3+ years School or district level administrative/leadership experience preferred
  • 3+ years focused on professional learning and leading a team remotely
  • The ability to develop multiple year professional learning plans, service delivery, and budgets for large school districts up to a hundred+ schools
  • Experience modeling growth aligned with sales target
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with dis
