The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
With broad oversight, the Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the overall strategic management of the agency plant and has primary responsibility for marketing strategy and business development driving profitable growth for the assigned territory. This position manages people (Regional Sales Directors, Sr. Sales Executives, and Sales Executives).What Will You Do?
- The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the overall strategic management of the agency plant and has primary responsibility for marketing strategy and business development driving profitable growth for the assigned territory.
- Leadership:
- Responsible for hiring, coaching and mentoring Regional Sales Directors and Regional Sales Directors.
- Applies effective performance management practice.
- Provides coaching and management to Regional Sales Directors to meet performance results.
- Holds Regional Sales Directors accountable for managing business partnerships with Claim, Business Centers, other Travelers and PI distribution channels, and Home Office business units.
- Develops a strong distribution network for PI products through the independent agency system and related systems.
- Explores feasibility of alternative distribution channels.
- Drives the development and execution of strategies to produce profitable Personal Insurance business.
- Develops overall sales and distribution strategy for Personal Insurance, consistent with overall Personal Insurance objectives and initiatives.
- Ensures that staff and agency development strategies are executed to achieve business objectives.
- Monitors and influences the regulatory and competitive environment and adjusts strategies to appropriately reflect the interest of the PI business.
- Provides input into rates and product pricing in light of sales initiatives and results.
- Responsible for ensuring that appropriate processes are in place to define, monitor and measure key results of PI sales distribution staff.
- Makes decision adjustments based on the data and environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience in Personal Insurance Lines.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales/marketing .
