The Walmart/VIZIO Team is dedicated to enhancing cloud infrastructure efficiency and financial transparency. By driving innovation and aligning cloud resource usage with budgetary goals, we ensure that our cloud operations are both cost-effective and high-performing. Your role will be pivotal in achieving these objectives, providing critical insights and automation solutions that support our broader company goals.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement automation to optimize cloud spend across AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Develop scripts and workflows (Python, Bash) for cost reporting and resource management.
• Analyze cloud usage data using SQL and visualization tools like Power BI.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Product teams to align cloud usage with budgetary goals.
• Integrate FinOps automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Implement and maintain automated tag governance systems.

What You’ll Bring

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, especially in cost management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly with Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
• In-depth understanding of cloud pricing models and financial impact of infrastructure decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Attention to detail and a focus on security and compliance in automation processes.
