What You Will Bring
- Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field;
- Candidate must have at least eight (8) years of professional Information Technology experience;
- Experience with Oracle products & services is not prerequisite, but will be considered as an advantage;
- PMP or PRINCE 2 certificate or 5 years of experience in PM
- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud computing models and concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and Public, Hybrid, Private);
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, with Hungarian as either the native language or extremely fluent.
What You Will Do
- At the highest level, the objective of Project Management is to achieve a very high level of Customer satisfaction with the service(s) that the Customer has purchased.
- PMs provide best practice advice and guidance regarding the implementation, deployment support and operation of Oracle applications, technology and hardware infrastructure. This enables customers to make fully informed decisions to help them maximize the business value of their Oracle investment and achieve the desired business outcomes while minimizing risk.
- The PM will drive recommendations through to resolution by working with customer stakeholders to ensure appropriate level of sponsorship and prioritization.
- PMs are responsible for establishing and maintaining a delivery governance model with the Customer at the operational, management and executive levels, as applicable. As the Customer’s primary point of contact for the delivery of the Oracle services contract, PMs maintain relationships with Customer stakeholders, understanding and aligning their objectives and perceptions with the contract scope. In addition, they operate as the Oracle representative to the customer, aiding and facilitating customer communications and activities across other Oracle lines of business.
- Whether a project, support or managed service, the PM is the Customer’s trusted advisor is responsible for proactively guiding the Customer to successful outcomes in the use of Oracle technologies to support their business.
- Tasks include delivering to the contracted terms, effective and efficient use of Oracle delivery resources, achieving the estimated contract margin and managing burn rate expectations. The role also includes identifying risks with mitigation recommendations, escalation management and coordinating resources from across Oracle to provide resolution without the need to escalate further. Management also includes the distribution of documents and deliverables and accurate record-keeping, supporting business management that meets quality review and auditing expectations.
- As part of Oracle's employment process candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment screening process. This will involve identity and employment verification, professional references, education verification and professional qualifications and memberships (if applicable).

- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of customers' industries and core business processes, and their technical and business needs,
- Experience in Service Management from a delivery perspective
- Good knowledge required in the following database areas: Relational databases; High availability, clustering technologies, Database security, Database manageability; In-memory technology, Database application development” to the following: Good knowledge required in one or few of the following database areas: Relational databases, Security, Application development, Data Management;
- Oracle DBA certifications are strong plus
- Good knowledge of competitors and ability to position Oracle Database and Database options effectively in competition with them
- Experience in escalation management,
