The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
RTX Real Estate Services is looking for a Senior Manager, Workplace Strategist, to support strategic planning across RTX’s global portfolio. You’ll work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the real estate organization to efficiently distribute and reconfigure workspace while ensuring optimal employee experience. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of workplace experience, change management, and space planning. Experience in occupancy planning, workplace strategy and/or workplace data management or related program/ project execution, quality and process improvement is required. This is a remote role the ideal candidates will be based out of Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts or Washington DC region. Business travel is estimated to be up to 25%
What You Will do:
- Develops effective relationships with Portfolio Managers, Project Delivery and Facilities to partner on the strategic & tactical analysis of the Business Unit Real Estate Portfolio.
- Provides Business Unit support for the collection of requirements, creation of scenarios, and occupancy planning for capital and expense projects as well as long range planning.
- Main responsibilities include effectively distributing workspace, maximizing space utilization, reviewing test fits, and facilitating smooth transitions for office moves and reconfigurations.
- Develops occupancy plans for specific Business Unit, resolving planning issues identified during customer planning sessions.
- Ensure the alignment of occupancy plans with Workplace Design Guidelines and that all scenarios maximize the use of space. Assist in developing site–specific planning strategies with site and regional leadership.
- Focused on leveraging CAFM software and related tools to ensure informed decision making to optimize space utilization and overall operational efficiency.
- Responsible for reporting of workspace utilization and occupancy aimed to drive enhancement of the overall employee experience within the real estate portfolio.
- May support the development of presentations to business unit stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Enterprise Real Estate Services processes and procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- This role typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related applicable field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience;
- At least 7 years experience in Corporate Real Estate occupancy planning experience and working knowledge of Project Management, Construction Development, Workplace Strategy and Facility Management.
- At least 7 years previous experience with strategic planning in classified and/or otherwise restricted space.
- At least 7 years experience effectively distributing workspace, maximizing space utilization, reviewing test fits, and facilitating smooth transitions for office moves and reconfigurations.
- Ability to comprehend and solve complex problems requiring both qualitative and quantitative considerations.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Corporate Real Estate experience preferred.
- Experience building relationships in complex situations both internally and externally.
