This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage key supply chain engineering initiatives to ensure successful execution and delivery in support of design to cost.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams & stakeholders including Annual Operating Plan and Multi-Year Plan financial targets.
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure project progress and adherence to timelines and budgets. Track, report, and communicate status, critical path, challenges, and solutions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Closely coordinate across business units to ensure cohesion and common goals regarding supply chain engineering initiatives.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree or equivalent relevant experience in engineering or business.
• 10+ years experience in supply chain management supporting critical initiatives related to supply chain engineering.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated experience motivating and developing teams in a dynamic environment. 
• Program management experience, including management of budgets, gross margin, headcount, and business case analysis.
• Experience developing enterprise multi-year financial targets and strategy roadmaps.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.

• Broad multifunctional experience covering technology, operations, marketing, sales, innovation, and general management
• A demonstrated ability to shape and influence company activities via strategic analysis and tactical execution
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels, and persuade others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
• Understanding of business objectives and strong ability to interact with our customers
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong Business and Financial acumen
• Various experience in Integrated Supply Chain, Program Management, Business development, Engineering, and Finance
• Manufacturing capability and factory optimization expertise.

 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $141,189.00-$197,664.60
