Position Specific Description

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer with specialized expertise in data engineering and artificial intelligence to join our dynamic NEER Salesforce platform team. This role will focus on optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing data transformation solutions, and integrating AI capabilities within our Salesforce ecosystem to support NextEra Energy's innovative technology initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities and qualifications: 

• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments across multiple orgs and environments

 • Implement automated testing frameworks and deployment strategies to ensure code quality and system reliability

• Develop and optimize data integration pipelines using MuleSoft, APIs, and ETL processes for complex data transformation efforts

• Collaborate on AI initiatives including generative AI implementations and machine learning model integrations within Salesforce

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions for platform optimization

• Support data governance protocols and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards

• Partner with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver scalable technical solutions

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps experience with strong knowledge of deployment tools (SFDX, GitHub, Jenkins)

• Proven expertise in data engineering concepts including data modeling, ETL processes, and API integrations

• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning implementations, preferably in Salesforce environments

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, governance, and best practices

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, Python, or Java

• Experience with version control systems and automated testing methodologies

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Administrator, or DevOps Engineer)

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and data transformation tools

• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and generative AI applications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise integration patterns

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports the continuous integration services maintenance and configuration and keeps the build environment for the software developers working well
  • Maintains and creates automatic deployment of software builds to test and production environments and enables the operations team to easily and consistently deploy software developed by the  new products teams
  • Monitors system development and maintenance and ensures that staff at all technical levels are informed of the health of our systems
  • Continually evaluates Operation teams processes and automates repetitive and temporary solutions
  • Improves the product environment and practices used by the software developers
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 3+ years
