Our goal is to contribute to Etsy at multiple levels by combining our treasury knowledge and business sense while subscribing to Etsy’s mission and values.</p><p>You will collaborate closely with many of Etsy’s organisations, including but not limited to Accounting, Analytics, Payments and FP&amp;A . You will be facilitating daily treasury operations, providing accurate cash reporting, and assisting with bank structure and risk management activities. Of course you are also an outstanding teammate, willing to jump in on projects as the work and deadlines demand.</li></ul><p><strong>What does the day-to-day look like?</strong></p><ul><li>Direct cash management operations to include perform day-to-day cash management functions including accessing daily bank reports, calculating and preparing cash positioning for multiple accounts and processing wire transfers, and maintaining forecasting projections daily</li><li>Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts and comparing actualised performance against forecasts. Optimise analysis to support the short-term vs long term investing opportunities</li><li>Perform bank account management activity, which includes facilitating opening and closing of bank accounts, providing KYC documentation to banking partners, updating banking signatories, and implementing changes to banking services.</li><li>Work with Sr. Treasury Manager to maintain and rationalise the Etsy’s choice of key global banks including the analysis of bank fee structures, services, relationships, credit levels and counterparty credit quality/exposure</li><li>Assist with risk management by identifying/recommending strategies to minimise foreign currency exchange exposure</li><li>Partner with Payments Operations to facilitate the smooth functioning of Etsy Payments platform; ensuring the appropriate amounts of different currencies are available for disbursement to sellers around the world</li><li>Review and drive improvements in cash management ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with company policies and procedures for Etsy House of Brands</li><li>Develop, update, and monitor Treasury operational policies, be responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Treasury Operations, and support audit requirements.</li><li>Support internal Controls and External Audit by providing information in connection monitor cash management activities to ensure compliance</li><li>Effectively work with and support internal business partners including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Legal, Tax/ Legal teams and Payments Operations.</li><li>Adhere to month-end cut off schedules for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts, all month end processes, and al
