Your role at Sephora: As a Senior Engineering Manager, Data Insights, you will: Oversee the gathering and analysis of business intelligence requirements and data analytics use cases to direct the development of technology solutions. Oversee the analysis of software tools for mobile devices (smart phones, computer tables) and make strategic decisions regarding future enterprise tool investments. Manage a team responsible for providing primary Business Intelligence software tool design, administration, development, and support services. Manage the design and development of complex database reports (self-service, ad-hoc, and automated), generating on-demand reporting and analytics for business planning and decision-making, and auditing the consistency, stability, and quality of database information. Drive the selection of technical enterprise reporting and analytics tools. Lead the research, discovery and decision making for business data analytics tools. Regularly communicate status with stakeholders at all levels in leadership, across technology and the business. Serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics engineering. Manage, Mentor and provide technical guidance to the data engineering team. Manage budget and work-streams for the data engineering team. Multiple Openings. (Position allows some work-from- home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.)

 

Minimum Requirements:

• ** Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Eight (8) years of experience in the offered position, as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a closely related business intelligence analytics role. (**If no degree or unrelated degree, employer will accept a total of ten (10) years of experience in the offered position, as a Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a closely related business intelligence analytics role.)

Experience must include:

• Complex statistical analysis,
• Quantitative analytics, forecasting, predictive analytics, and predictive modeling,
• Machine learning and deep learning model development,
• Technical architecture for machine learning models,
• Project management,
• Roambi,
• SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS,
• PLSQL, Tomcat, and Java,
• Scrum and Agile development methodologies, and
• Data-Warehousing.

 

Salary: $186,900 to $237,000 per year depending on experience.
