Field Programs Manager
Hotel EngineAbout the role
Hotel Engine is a Denver-based travel tech company on a mission to radically simplify trip management for businesses. We’re not a cumbersome travel management company, nor an online price aggregator. We’re a powerful network that brings hotels and businesses together. Our members save time, money and effort in managing their lodging programs, and our partners get access to loyal, high-value business travelers. It’s a true win-win. Following a 2021 series B funding round at a $1.3 billion valuation, we achieved remarkable growth in 2022. We expect 2023 to be our best year yet.
Across our organization, we’re powered by exceptional talent. From our large Engineering and Product teams to Sales, Supplier Relations, Member Support, Data, Marketing and Operations, our team is forward-thinking, data-driven and customer-obsessed. We’re also a lot of fun — one of the many reasons we were named a Best Place to Work by Built In Colorado for the past four consecutive years.
We value our individuality, and we also understand that together, we thrive. Most importantly, we know we’re not for everyone! Complacency doesn’t live here. We’re focused on finding the right people who are energized by our culture and bring diverse experiences and backgrounds that will help us unlock our full potential. We’re looking for a Field Programs Manager to join our team and help build scalable multi-channel playbooks for our sales organization. You will partner closely with our Sales Development, Account Executive, Account Management and Sales Enablement teams to support pipeline generation, customer adoption and bookings.
Here's what you'll do:
- Build and manage multi-channel sales playbooks and content within Outreach, Postal.io, Brandfolder and any additional GTM platforms. This includes building sequences, snippets, direct mail packages, and sales enablement training material directly into their respective systems.
- Communicate and partner cross-functionally with internal teams to create intake process, prioritize requests, build programs, train/enable sales and optimize on-going programs.
- Identify effectiveness and impact of field programs on new bookings by partnering with the Revenue Operations team to track and report on key metrics associated to each campaign/program/playbook.
- Develop and execute A/B testing strategy through subject lines, copy, template layouts and imagery and present ideas, deliverables and analysis to internal, external teams and senior leadership
- Manage and optimize program segmentation to accurately categorize accounts and contacts within Outreach.
- Gain an advanced understanding of product and platform positioning knowledge in order to write and edit content for email marketing programs that aligns to overall messaging frameworks
- Own the creation of reporting and establishing benchmarks associated to each program to drive scale, efficiency and ongoing optimizations
- Possess a keen understanding of all marketing objectives along with sales pipeline funnel and how field programs impact overall business performance
- Collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams - including both internal stakeholders and external marketing partners at a senior leadership level
- Manage multiple tasks with competing priorities while giving excellent attention to detail completely independently with little guidance and oversight from senior managers
Here's what we're looking for:
- 5-7+ years' experience in a similar role in a high-growth company
- Ability to work independently and be proactive in identifying opportunities and recommending solutions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with sales solutions like Salesforce and Outreach/SalesLoft, Postal/Sendoso
- Strong ability to communicate efficiently with internal stakeholders via email, slack and presenting in team meetings
- Proven project management, organization, and communication skills with the ability to support productive matrixed teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ability to drive multiple initiatives at one time, adapt to evolving priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. You have a track record of effectively working with a variety of key players across the organization, such as the executive team, sales, and product
- Self-starter and comfortable with extreme ambiguity
