Senior Tax Accountant Needed

Celero Commerce is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Accounting team! The Senior Tax Accountant at Celero Commerce will handle a wide range of tax-related responsibilities including managing monthly and quarterly filings, supporting audits, coordinating with external partners, and ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage monthly sales tax filings and oversee business tax registrations, licenses, and renewals
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on quarterly and annual tax form submissions and payments
• Lead annual unclaimed property review and reporting
• Assist with backup withholdings filings (B Notices) and 1099 tax compliance
• Set up and maintain vendors and new agents in NetSuite; update banking info in MineralTree
• Track capitalized expenses and support contract asset accounting
• Assist with contingent consideration, members’ equity, and monthly GL reviews
• Support quarterly filings and monthly accruals
• Oversee intercompany income statement eliminations
• Administer RAMP card program and employee onboarding
• Respond to audit requests and provide accurate documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external teams to verify all remitted tax amounts

Experience & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 4+ years of tax/accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Experience with NetSuite, MineralTree, or similar accounting and payment systems, and working with external tax consultants
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems
