Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient on Site Supervisor to join our team in Akron.  In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance operations of a medical facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and vistors. 

• Supervise and coordinate the janitorial team assigning tasks and ensuring efficient completion of daily cleaning and maintenance duties
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules,ensuring all areas of the facility are properly maintained
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address maintenance issues promptly
• Manage inventory cleaning supplies and equipment , placing orders as needed 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety reegulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Train new janitorial staff members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
• Collaborate with clients to address any specific cleaning or maintenance needs
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations as they arise
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, maintenance requests, and inventory
• Implement and oversee energy-efficient practices to reduce costs and environmental impact 

$20.00 per hour, Full Time, 2nd shift

Qualifications

3-5 years of janitorial experience in a similar setting

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, including the use of various cleaning equipment and supplies
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to healthcare environments 
• Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling 
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in custodial services or facility management (preferred)
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime as needed
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

Must be willing to take a yearly Tuberculosis test and flu vaccine or be able to provide proof of your exemption from your healthcare provider or spritual advisor.
