DevSecOps Engineering Technical Lead

Job Description:
AFS is seeking a DevOps Technical Lead to lead a team of DevOps Engineers. This team will develop and maintain automated systems used for development, testing, and deployment of various software components within an SDLC, cloud-based workload while adhering to current DevOps principals and methodologies and providing support for fast-paced software development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Install, patch, and upgrade applications
- Advanced customization of configurations & feature administration
- Drives system documentation standards and process compliance
- Provides advice and training to end-users
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Troubleshoot and resolve any reported problems
- Provide application performance tuning
- Enable best practices using listed tools
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 1 year experience leading/mentoring junior team members, vetting solutions, and driving projects to completion
- 3+ years experience leading teams, gathering and directing requirements, and coordinating product deliveries to customers, clients, or external teams
- 3+ years experience with a scripting language such as Python or equivalent language, Ansible, or BASH
- 3+ years experience supporting security requirements in a mixed environment, to include a range of Windows, Linux, and cloud technologies
- 2+ years experience working with containers and container environments such as Docker or Kubernetes
- 2+ years experience with GitLab or equivalent platform
- 2+ years experience with building and deploying software
- 2+ years experience with network engineering technologies, such as TCP/IP, UDP, hardware/software-based encryption, ACLs, and VLAN technologies
Bonus points if you have:
- 2+ years experience in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments
- Demonstrated success in "shift-left" techniques to accelerate value delivery to production environments
- Experience utilizing API gateways and spring cloud features to enhance operational resiliency and deployment flexibility
- Experience with classified programs for DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) customers in a technical environment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity assessments and authorization (A&A) processes in highly regulated environments
Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $105,200 - $168,400
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
