Job Description:
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for current college students or recent college grads looking to kick start a career in the Lending and Finance Industry! As an Intern with Dominion Financial Services, you will have the opportunity to gain experience while working alongside a successful team of driven real estate professionals. This internship will offer a compensation between $15-$17/HR.

In This Role You Will
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify key players in the Single-Family Rental (SFR) investment industry.
- Utilize various public records and licensed data sources to gather information on business relationships within the industry.
- Build a detailed model illustrating the interconnections and dynamics among businesses in the SFR investment sector.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and significant relationships within the industry.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of the model.
- Generate actionable insights from the model to inform decision-making processes.
- Create a comprehensive report summarizing findings, highlighting major players, and mapping the industry landscape from local markets to national levels.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including executives and investors.
- Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate new information into the model as necessary.
- Continuously refine and improve the model based on feedback and emerging trends in the SFR investment industry.
