We are seeking an experienced Senior Director Transportation and Logistics to optimize global logistics operations and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
This strategic leadership role will manage a $200 million global logistics freight spend, driving transformation initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and distribution within a complex, matrixed network across multiple business segments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, project management, and network optimization within the logistics and warehousing sector with a focus in North America, as well as EMEA and APAC regions.
Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a transportation and logistics network which supports the global growth strategy, profitability objectives, and customer requirements.
Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives cross functionally to enhance productivity with real-time supply chain visibility.
Lead the execution, contracting, and service of the transportation network, delivering freight costs savings, elevating customer experiences, and strengthening relationships with key partners.
Ensure that Rehlko’s transportation network remains resilient in the face of unforeseen market and macroeconomic disruptions.
Partners with Global Trade to ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations.
Financial & Performance Management:
Own Transportation and logistics P&L at a global level, driving cost savings without compromising service.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve transportation & warehouse efficiency while improving our customer experience.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align logistics with business goals and global growth strategy.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a direct and indirect high-performing teams to enable double digit YOY growth targets.
Foster a culture of accountability, cross functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive effective collaboration across all stakeholders upstream and downstream to ensure buy-in and ownership of key logistics strategies, and system & process enhancements.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in supply chain, warehousing, trade compliance, and logistics leadership, with experience managing multi-site distribution networks.
Proven experience managing a large-scale, complex warehouse and logistics operation.
Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, customs compliance, and international shipping processes.
Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, automation, and supply chain analytics.
Proven business/financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges and meeting customer needs.

The salary range for this position is $183,600.00 - 239,250.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Av
