Who We NeedCopa Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to join our team and play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions for children/adolescents in our youth residential program in Magna, Utah. You would be working with behavioral diagnoses for a group of boys, ages 13-17 years of age. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8a-5p.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Coordinating care with team members and participating in staffing meetings.
  • Completing documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
  • Ensuring positive member outcomes and adherence to agency policies.
  • Working as part of a clinical team to support members in achieving their service plan goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health (Counseling, Social Work, or related field).
  • Licensure: Licensed or license-eligible in Utah (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) or actively working towards licensure. Associate's level license is acceptable.
  • Preferred: DBT certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Community Resources, Psychotropic Medication, Crisis Intervention, Clinical Methods, and more.
  • Technical proficiency: MS Office and ability to learn new software systems (EMR/EHR).
  • Additional: Pass a full state background check/clearance, meet driver authorization requirements, and Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Retention Bonus Details: A $5,000 Retention Incentive is provided after one year of full-time employment—half paid at six months and the remaining half at one year.
