Carpet Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our disaster restoration team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality carpet, upholstery, and floor cleaning services for residential and commercial properties, often in post-loss environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpet, upholstery, and hard-surface cleaning using truck-mounted and portable equipment

• Set up, operate, and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

• Assess carpet and flooring conditions and determine appropriate cleaning methods

• Apply cleaning solutions and treatments according to company standards

• Communicate professionally with customers on-site

• Maintain clean and organized work vehicles and equipment

• Follow safety procedures and company protocols

Qualifications:

• Experience in carpet cleaning or restoration preferred (will train the right candidate)

• Ability to operate truck-mounted cleaning systems

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Ability to perform physical work (lifting equipment, bending, standing)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Experience:

• IICRC certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Disaster restoration or water mitigation experience

• Experience working in residential and commercial environments
