Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at Ask Media Group, LLC:

Build innovative solutions to predict and prescribe strategies that bring a competitive advantage to our business products.  Build and productionize models (test and deploy an application model to production), fine tune models for better effectiveness, and build for scalability and stability. Duties include:

1. Develop data science and machine learning solutions;
2. Productionize machine learning and data science solutions; 
3. Derive models that drive business needs further in collaboration with other teams;
4. Work on data problems end-to-end, from pulling and processing data across multiple sources, to testing and deploying data-driven models and services in production, at web scale;
5. Develop scalable, reliable, and high performing services;
6. Build pipelines and online services that will underlie content recommendation and classification systems.

May telecommute from any US location.

Minimum Requirements:  

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline followed by 3 years of experience in a machine learning- or data science engineering-occupation.

Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:

• 3 years of software development experience using Python and SQL;
• 3 years of experience building production-level applications and supporting infrastructure on technologies and frameworks, including Spark;
• 3 years of experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure;
• 3 years of experience with statistical machine learning, including decision trees, random forest, log regression, xgboost, and linear regression;
• 3 years of experience understanding mathematical models used for predictive and prescriptive analysis;
• 3 years of experience with deep learning frameworks, including Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Keras;
• 3 years of experience with NLP and deep learning technologies, including RNN, LSTM, TF-IDF, and Word2Vec;
• 1 year of experience with CI/CD tools, including JIRA, and Jenkins.

Job site: 1955 Broadway, Suite 350, Oakland, CA 94612. Full-time. Salary: $153,088 - $186,000.
