Sr. Consultant, Core Infrastructure Senior Database Administrator

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

• Administer and support enterprise database platforms including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2
• Manage installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of database systems
• Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues
• Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations and validate recoverability
• Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations and operational readiness
• Troubleshoot database incidents, outages, performance degradation, and connectivity issues
• Manage database security, access controls, roles, and privileges
• Support migrations, refreshes, cloning, and environment build activities
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams for issue resolution and change execution
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Automate recurring DBA tasks where possible to improve efficiency and reliability

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years of hands-on DBA experience across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2
• Strong technical exposure to on-prem and cloud platforms such as Azure, OCI, Exadata, and Mainframe
• Relevant database certifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
