Director HR Director Organizational Design/Organizational Effectiveness (m/f/d)

Purpose:
To develop, deliver and champion a global standard for organizational design and effective operating models. To support the adoption of the OD global standard through governance (as supported by HRSLT), monitoring, reporting and measurement of impact. To define and implement all relevant HR-related aspects that support the enablement of HR, Talent and other business leaders in the design of high performing organizations.
To provide data driven insights that create transparency about organizational structure in terms of opportunities and risks. Act as advisor to organizational changes that require structural and/or operating model revisions, with particular emphasis on mid to large scale changes requiring significant readiness and cross organization adoption. Provide services and tools that contribute to stronger organizational health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert to HR and other business leaders in the design and development of high performing organizations.
- Define, develop and champion a global standard for organizational design.
- Provide strategic support to HR and other business leaders in the design of organizational structures, roles and responsibilities including the definition of any future capability requirements.
- Provide expertise to consider diverse structural options and advise on the pros and cons of each.
- Provide pragmatic and tangible organization design solutions to complex business situations as needed.
- Provide and implement business standards that support informed decision making as a result of analysis, controlling and governance and give insights into strategy.
- Review proposed organization designs to ensure alignment with strategic OD principles and support / advise HRBPs and business stakeholders.
- Deliver Organization Design experience and services to the business, partnering with HRBPs and Talent.
- Work collaboratively with OE Team members, HR and other business leaders to design and implement adoption plans that support business areas in achieving desired outcomes.
- Provide leadership to direct reports and OE team members in the areas of organizational design, development and people analytics.
- Develop a methodology for organizational blueprinting that ensures key functions are organized efficiently and effectively, supporting consistency and context.
- Lead and manage in-house consulting in terms of introducing organizational standards, with related, relevant governance and support including education and building up of Org. Design capabilities of HR and other business leaders.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent skills in designing, managing and measuring organizational design and operating models within global, complex organizations.
- Facilitation, negotiation and consulting skills with audiences of all levels, perspectives and objectives
- Very strong analytical and conceptual thinking and expertise in HR strategy and organization
- Proven planning skills with high levels of strategy and business standards knowledge (analysis, organization, controlling, governance); knowledge of strategic HR topics
- Proactive and effective communication with excellent convincing and influencing skills
- Strong integrator skills, such as a keen interest and desire to build connections among people that goes beyond support
- Capability to reduce complexity and to identify / manage dependencies
- Pragmatic approach of leading projects and proven track record in contributing to large initiatives
- Ability to focus on sustainability in conceptualisation.
Requisite Education and Experience:
- University degree in business or related field and/or at least 8-10 years of work experience in organizational design and development
- Extended relevant work experience in multinational, complex companies with experience in matrixed organizational design and development initiatives
- Direct contribution to large scale organizational transformations is preferred
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic organization designs.
