About the role

Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a Senior Engagement Owner to serve as the primary engagement and delivery leader for the Quality & Patient Safety (QPS) team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role is responsible for driving successful execution of quality and patient safety initiatives across national programs, market deployments, local site engagements, and internal strategic priorities.

The Senior Engagement Owner will serve as the central coordinator for all QPS engagement activities, ensuring alignment between quality and patient safety objectives, deployment timelines, contractual commitments, and client expectations. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, lead complex engagement efforts, manage project portfolios, and continuously refine the QPS engagement methodology to support successful outcomes across the VA enterprise.

The ideal candidate is a healthcare technology and consulting leader who excels in complex environments, builds strong relationships, drives accountability, and delivers measurable results while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

As a Senior Engagement Owner, You Will:

  • Lead Quality & Patient Safety engagements from initiation through completion across national, market, and local deployment activities.
  • Serve as the primary project manager for the QPS team, coordinating timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Own and maintain engagement plans that align QPS activities with broader Oracle Health deployment and engagement management timelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the QPS organization and broader Oracle Health Engagement Management teams to ensure alignment, communication, and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VA stakeholders, market leadership, site leadership, Oracle Health leadership, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Facilitate client-facing meetings, executive reviews, governance sessions, and operational workgroups.
  • Lead markets and sites through the Quality & Patient Safety engagement lifecycle while ensuring integration with deployment milestones and readiness activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the QPS engagement methodology, processes, tools, and governance structures.
  • Own the end-to-end contract management process, including drafting statements of work, defining deliverables, resource planning, and FTE allocation.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and contractual commitments for assigned engagements.
  • Establish and maintain project reporting, executive communications, risk registers, action logs, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are completed on time, meet quality standards, and align with client expectations.
  • Delegate work appropriately across the QPS team while maintaining accountability for overall engagement success.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks that may impact quality, patient safety, deployment timelines, or client satisfaction.
  • Foster collaboration across clinical, operational, technical, deployment, and executive stakeholder groups.
  • Support strategic planning and internal operational initiatives that advance the goals of the Quality & Patient Safety organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare technology, healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, quality improvement, patient safety, project management, program management, or client engagement leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to lead client-facing engagements and establish trusted relationships with executive, operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, resource management, risk management, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing contractual obligations, performance work statements, deliverables, resource forecasts, and financial accountability.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive accountability, and execute effectively in fast-pace
