The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Part Time Student for John Deere Aftermarket & Customer Support at World Headquarters located in Moline, IL you will contribute to special projects that enable John Deere dealers around the world to keep their customers up and running.  Project work will include:

 

  • Information gathering and communication with global stakeholders
  • Technical information content analysis and rationalization
  • Process documentation
  • Training presentation and/or video development

 

This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas

 

What Skills You Need

 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (data manipulation and portfolio analysis)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint (summaries and training presentations)
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
  • Graduation date of December 2025 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours / weekly
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours / weekly
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Moline, IL on a daily basis year-round
  • Ideally you will be pursuing a BS degree in a technical discipline, business, or marketing; others may apply
