Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Senior Research Scientist to join our Analytical team at Pharmathen’s Metamorfosi premises.

As a Senior Research Scientist you will provide high quality analytical method development and validation in a GMP environment. You will also support new product development through analysis of innovator samples and R&D formulations.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

• Organize the analytical team daily schedule, provides technical support, problem solving  and guidance
• Participate in the analytical method development/optimization & method validation of complex drugs to support all stages of drug development from drug substance characterization to finished product characterization and support.
• Participate in analysis of formulation /manufacturing process trials.
• Deliver, evaluate and interpret experimental data
• Compile, maintain, review and interpret analytical and statistical data. Assists with the generating high quality technical documents required for method validation, stability, formulation and deficiency letters
• Participate in meetings to provide project update to internal and external collaborators.
• Collaborate with External labs
• Maintain and follow all laboratory systems, GMPS
• Follow the rules as define in the relevant EU and FDA guidelines
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements
• Assume other activities and responsibilities as directed

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum MSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field, PhD will be considered an asset
• At least 3 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent experience

Job-Specific Skills:

• Expertise in chromatographic technics (eg. HPLC, GC, LC-MS)
• Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
• Computer literacy
• Strong problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
