About this role:

As a PRN Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider; APP), you will work with the Emergency Services team at Intermountain Health Sevier Valley Hospital as a collaborative member of a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

Sevier Valley Hospital is an award-winning, national Top 20 rural hospital and Level IV Trauma Center that provides exceptional care in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah.

In this role you can anticipate:

  • Working PRN, as needed (anticipated 2-5 shifts per month)
  • Practicing at Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield, UT
  • 24/7 emergency medicine department; to include weekends and holidays
  • Daily APP shift: 4pm-10pm
  • No travel or accommodation stipend

What you’ll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
