The role

As a Business Systems Engineer at ONE, you will optimize our systems and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, focusing on streamlining operations to enhance productivity and revenue. Your role includes managing knowledge content and leading automation projects with a constant emphasis on maintaining robust security standards in all tasks and initiatives.

This role is responsible for: 

• Partnering with IT & Security teams to develop and implement innovative technology solutions

• Ensuring IT solutions are user-friendly, secure, and compliant with both company and regulatory standards

• Serving as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, managing the IT service queue

• Communicating system and process updates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Upholding company policies and standards in security, data privacy, and disaster recovery

• Addressing complex end-user issues, formulating solutions, and strategizing prevention measures

• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures

You bring

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, focusing on cloud services and MacOS endpoints

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Versatility in working across different domains as needed by the business

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience

• Knowledge in various domains including system engineering, networking, security, and compliance

• Experience with tech stacks in HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Customer Service Operations (e.g., WorkDay, Rippling, Oracle)

• Certifications in AWS, Security+, Apple Support, RPA, or Automation are a plus

Pay Transparency

The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $145,000. Pay is generally based on the level, complexity, responsibility, and job duties/requirements of the specific position. Leveling Philosophy

In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at ONE. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within ONE.
