Job Overview

The Business Systems Analyst position is responsible for the implementation and ongoing technical support of Altura’s transactional systems, while ensuring alignment with business needs and strategies. The role will directly support the Shared Services department. Reporting to the AVP of MSO Operations, the BSA holds a pivotal role in deploying and supporting the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of the transactional system that enables our organization to scale while delivering high value to the business with process and data improvements, while identifying opportunities for system enhancements to maximize productivity and ensure quality. 

The position works with users, project team members, third-party vendors, IT, and managers at all levels of the company to drive standards and best practices, eliminate redundancies, and deliver on objectives within product development, business process design, IT/Business operations development, software development, and their respective lifecycles. This individual will also manage project-based deliverables that include but not limited to process mapping, gathering business requirements, designing/generating reports, developing/executing test plans and configuration and set-up of the transactional system. The individual will work as part of a team supporting enterprise business software applications and infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:  
1.    Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, statistics, organizational management or related field preferred.
2.    Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Managed Care Business Analyst (Claims, UM, Provider Network) required.
3.    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Claims System Configuration or any managed care application preferred.
4.    Minimum of 2 years system implementation experience, preferably claims system (i.e. EZCAP, QNXT, iKA, Trizetto) or any managed care application including practice management systems (i.e. Essette, Cozeva, Cacts, eVIPs, EPIC) preferred.
5.    Experience in the practical application of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.

Salary Range

$94,848.00 - $118,560.00 annually
