We are seeking an enthusiastic Business System Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will utilize your passion & skills to support all business systems users across our growing organization. You will make key process improvements within Salesforce and other business systems that have a direct impact on the overall success of Charles River Analytics.
Ways you can make an impact:
- Serve as an administrator for CRA’s Salesforce environment which includes 125+ users and is comprised of 100+ custom objects
- Provide technical support to end users as needed, as well as training new users in basic Salesforce navigation and functionality
- Develop and maintain Salesforce workflows and automations
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team to develop and implement Salesforce Apex solutions
- Create and maintain business intelligence artifacts; assist end users in the creation of reporting tools and dashboards as needed
- Collaborate with the Business Systems and IT teams to maintain cross-systems data synchronization and integrity
- Collaborate with others in IT, Business Systems, and Management to improve and develop processes
- Document system features, processes, and best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve processes as necessary
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent programming experience
- Experience in Salesforce Lightning environment
- Knowledge of the Salesforce platform and products, and how to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience working with and transforming large datasets
- Experience working with Salesforce custom objects and data model
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
- U.S. Citizenship is Required
Nice to haves:
- Salesforce certified administrator
- Familiarity with Salesforce SOQL and Apex
- Salesforce-certified Platform App Developer
- Experience in supporting integrations across external systems
- Experience with Unanet
- Experience with Cost Point
- Experience with PowerBI
- Advanced experience with Excel (e.g., macros, pivot tables)
