Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst ERP II position is responsible for providing system-level support for various business applications to include Workday and related systems as well as demonstrates project management skills to facilitate meeting and drive projects to completion. Support includes installation, configuration, maintenance, training, reporting and production support for the ERP business applications and all other 3rd party integrations. This position works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation and knowledge with the application. The ERP Business Analyst II may provide leadership for other team members as well as the business units, technology teams and support teams. This position will support the business objectives of the hospital as well as the delivery of safe patient care and services.
 

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Licensure or other certifications: Job related certification or Workday ERP professional certification required for at least one domain, i.e. HCM, Finance, Payroll, SCM, Adaptive Planning or Prism module.

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree Required in Computer Science or other related field required. 

  • Minimum Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience as a healthcare applications analyst or IT Trainer experience required. Some operation experience may be considered in lieu of direct IT applications support work.

  • Demonstrates ability to independently (with leadership support) lead/ facilitate small projects as assigned in the delivery and support of Business or Revenue Cycle system solutions. 

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with system users, technical staff, other ITS groups and vendor support resources in problem solving related to customer group systems.

  • Coordinates aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or new functionality within the various business & revenue cycle applications.

  • Conducts and collaborates the efforts in researching, planning, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading of operating systems and application software/hardware, developing knowledge regarding support of assigned systems.

  • Participates in development and execution of standardized methodology for testing major system functions before system changes/upgrades are moved to production environment.
