The Opportunity
The Business and Product Analyst at AGI Digital will play a pivotal role within the Product Management team, focusing on enhancing our innovative solutions, including BinManager, Farmobile, and Hazard Monitoring systems. This position involves analyzing market trends, third party research data, customer needs, and product performance to drive strategic decision-making and product development.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other product management staff to gather insights, define product opportunities, and ensure that our offerings meet the evolving demands of the agricultural sector. A key aspect of this role includes preparing compelling PowerPoint presentations, business cases, and written strategic recommendation documents to communicate findings and proposals effectively to stakeholders. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of AGI's product portfolio. This position reports directly to the SVP of AGI Digital, placing you at the heart of our mission to grow and excel.
Responsibilities:
As a Business and Product Analyst at AGI, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our product offerings, particularly BinManager, Farmobile, and Hazard Monitoring systems. Your analytical expertise and strategic insights will help shape product development and enhance business operations, particularly in the agricultural technology (Ag Tech) sector. By supporting the adoption of innovative technology practices on farms, you will empower customers and dealers to optimize their operations and improve productivity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating findings will ensure that our products meet market demands and exceed growth objectives.
Other aspects of the role include:
Market Analysis: Conduct and compile thorough research and data on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform product development and positioning strategies for BinManager, Farmobile, and Hazard Monitoring systems.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Analyst and evaluate product performance metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed written reports and presentations that highlight insights and actionable recommendations for the Product Management team.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to gather knowledge and ensure other functional plans, strategies and work efforts are aligned to Business Unit goals and timelines.
Presentation Development: Create engaging PowerPoint presentations and business cases that effectively communicate findings, strategic recommendations, and product updates to stakeholders and leadership. Sort and compile presentations and source materials in a secure and well organized knowledge repository.
Product Improvement: Collaborate with other Product Management team members to define and document product requirements, ensuring that new features and enhancements align with research learning, customer expectations and business
