Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant 

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customers vision into software solutions.  

 

Expectations and Tasks:  

Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Map business processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on premise, c oud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LOBS and industries. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support escalated projects. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub) project lead and team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. Serve as the owner of a service and support updates to the portfolio. Support in solution testing and issue resolution. Mentor business process consultants.  

 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field of study and six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. . Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field of study and four years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve four years in the following:  

• ABAP development; 

• Data Science; 

• Python; 

• Business Technology Platform; and 

• SAP BASIS. 

 

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various, unanticipated customer sites nationwide.
