Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant
Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:  
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions. 

 

Expectations and Tasks: 
Map business processes to solution requirements. Champion and lead disruptive business innovation. Provide thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Plan transitions of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support in escalated projects. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-) project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience. Drive the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas - can be owner of a service and/or initiate updates to the portfolio. Drive the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes. Mentor business process consultants. 

 

Education and Occupational Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: 
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following: 
•    Test Strategy and Planning using Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies and processes;
•    Test Automation using SAP CBTA, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Junit, and Jest;
•    Problem-solving and troubleshoot system performance, data inconsistency, software bugs, configuration, or customization; 
•    Business process modelling using ARIS, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Signavio, and SAP EA Designer; and
•    Project risk management.
Position also requires experience in the following:
•    Configuration of SAP Cloud ALM and definition of integration with 3rd party tools.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.
