Business Process Analyst Senior
This position will perform or assist with activities related to the Ball Aerospace Resource Tool ‘BART’ system (Hexagon EcoSYS software) including administration, operations, configuration, implementations, and upgrades. In addition, this position will support end users through delivery of training and ensure policies, procedures, and management of change documentation meets operational standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure system changes meet requirements, have adequate administrative documentation, maintain up-to-date training materials, and are implemented using best practices.
- Assist with Change Control activities with leadership and primary stakeholders to define, prioritize, design, and implement changes.
- Work with business users to identify system requirements leveraging interviews, document analysis, business process workflows, and user stories to help analyze business needs.
- Collaborate with team and system developers to configure, enhance, and test systems to align with business needs.
- Manage system updates daily, monthly, and quarterly for accurate data and business reporting needs.
- Assist with data reporting development needs of the department including data retrieval and analysis as needed.
- Complete testing associated with system projects as it relates to enhancements, upgrades, or patches.
- Provide excellent communication to stakeholders regarding training opportunities, system changes, and operational data as appropriate.
- Develop training materials, and teach classes related to system use.
- Act as a trusted business advisor to provide business solutions to stakeholders.
- Understand and document the change impact of new solutions on existing systems or processes.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need:
- BS in related field plus 10 years or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- This role will require a future TS/SCI CI with Polygraph security clearance.
- US Government contracting experience is preferred.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and/or Project Controls is preferred.
- Excellent customer service, accountability, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
- Drive for results and execution excellence with financial, business management, and technical skills.
