This role will be based in San Francisco.  

We are looking for an Associate to join our Business Operations team that partners with the R&D organization responsible for the LinkedIn job seeker experience. In this role, you’ll influence the future direction of the job seeker experience, identifying new opportunities and driving forward strategic, quantitative-focused initiatives across LinkedIn Talent Solutions. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of functional partners across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Data Science.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with cross-functional R&D team to improve the core LinkedIn job seeking experience  

  • Define the key performance metrics for the LinkedIn job seeker ecosystem, and own metrics tracking and reporting for these metrics   

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the business and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities  

  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives) 

  • Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal 

  • Identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:   

  • BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related discipline or relevant work experience  

  • 2+ years of work experience in a strategy related role with an emphasis on quantitative skills  

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company  

  • Experience with SQL  

  • Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations  

  • High-energy, team-first attitude: You’re motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business  

  • Highly analytical: You’re analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced models.  

  • Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$78,000 to $126,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
