Position Overview

Neuberger Berman is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Manager to join the Human Capital Management (HCM) to support the strategic development, implementation, and management of HCM projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple projects and engage with stakeholders across various HCM functions to drive the successful delivery of complex initiatives that align with HCM goals. This individual should be able to navigate between details and the big picture, combining analytical thinking with deep business acumen to inform workforce strategies and solutions. Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different teams are essential to achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Program and Project Management

    • Drive planning, execution and delivery of programs and projects to meet business objectives and deadlines

    • Collaborate with project teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables,

    • Establish timelines,  monitor progress and decisions, and provide summary reports

    • Track tasks, manage RAID logs, and escalate items as necessary

    • Coordinate testing plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements

    • Develop training materials and ensure end-users are proficient in new systems and processes

    • Define project success criteria and ensure appropriate closeout and transition to Business-As-Usual (BAU)

  • Process Documentation

    • Create detailed documentation of existing processes across HCM, including standard operating procedures, workflows, definitions, etc.

    • Ask leading questions to elicit information, analyze processes, and provide insight into best practices

    • Identify gaps in current processes and prepare recommendations for improvement

  • Innovation and Efficiency:

    • Drive innovation and identify opportunities to improve business and operational efficiency through technology solutions

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to HCM programs to measure impact and effectiveness

    • Bring clarity to complexity and provide actionable insights

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of business analysis experience; previous HCM business analysis experience is highly preferred

  • Previous HCM experience is required within one or multiple HCM disciplines

  • Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to document quality BRDs, Functional Specifications and Test Plans

  • Manage time independently, work independently and manage multiple open work streams concurrently

  • Provide status and management reporting across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to create effective relationships, listen, communicate, influence and collaborate across teams at all levels of the organization

  • Track record in project management

  • Ability to prioritize tasks

  • Highly adaptive to dynamic, changing environments and priorities during project and change management

  • Financial Services industry a plus

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$185,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
