Business Intelligence Manager

As a Business Intelligence Manager, you’ll effectively lead and coordinate a technical team to support multiple business functions. You’ll manage our analytics, operational business intelligence and business efficiency processes from development to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with business analysts, project managers, and leadership to understand needs, priorities, and opportunities and provides value add data-centric solutions.
- Lead and coordinate analysts to build and maintain business intelligence tools for operational leadership on a variety of topics – such as performance, compliance, or financial results.
- Drive innovation in data practices and stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in business intelligence, data analytics and engineering, evaluating their potential impact on our service delivery and recommending adoption where appropriate.
- Effectively communicates complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and advocacy efforts.
- Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the team in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across all Business Intelligence disciplines.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of management experience
- Planning and/or Project management experience and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency of data visualization & BI tools including Microsoft Power BI or similar
- Proficiency with data modeling techniques, ETL/ELT and SQL
- Experience with low-code app & automation tools (Power Apps/Automate or similar)
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile tools
- Able to resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution
- Able to effectively coach technical staff members and adapt to new technologies quickly
- Insurance industry experience a plus
Location:
This position is a hybrid role. It is required to be on-site 3 days per week at one of the following office locations: Chevy Chase, MD, Chicago, IL, New York, NY.

Annual Salary
$113,000.00 - $207,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
