Business Intelligence Assistant (Intern)

IT@JH Health IT is seeking a Business Intelligence Assistant to work as an intern on several key projects.  The main focus for this assignment will be to focus on the transition of analytics dashboards from Tableau to Power BI working closely with the Johns Hopkins Medicine Data Trust Analytics teams.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Health IT PMO and JHM Data Trust Analytics teams to track and migration Tableau workbook and dashboard content to PowerBI.
• Partner with analytics teams to evaluate existing work and develop and deploy new resources within PowerBI.
• Engage with the Enterprise Data Warehouse team to map out data resources into PowerBI dashboards.
• Provide attention to detail in data gathering, specifications development and documentation and record keeping.

• Utilize basic degree of analytical skill.

• Work under direct supervision in support of team initiatives.

• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or graduation equivalent.
• Some College.
• Some experience required.

• Analytics experience, including previous use of PowerBI and Tableau
• SQL and other data tools
